The project included sulfur imports, rock mining and beneficiation, sulphuric acid production, power generation, phosphoric acid and diammonium phosphate production and ammonia production from coal. |

Developed a phosphoric acid production process for a chlorapatite rock from Sri Lanka. This high chloride rock cannot be converted to phosphoric acid using standard technology. A process has been developed and tested, and now awaits further development of the project.
