Louisiana. This deep-water platform is located in 200 feet of water.
-
Functioned as the lead in the conception, development, process design, procurement, construction management, commissioning, and operator training for gold mines in the US (Jerritt Canyon and Big Springs).
-
Led the design and construction of a phosphoric acid complex in Louisiana, USA. The complex included a dock on the Mississippi River, self-unloading phosphate rock barges, phosphate rock storage, drying, and grinding.
-
Led the research and development work on a process to recover uranium from phosphoric acid by solvent extraction. The process was successfully developed on a bench scale and patented. Pilot scale work was completed and a plant was designed, constructed and started up successfully. A second plant was subsequently placed in
operation.

As an
owner-representative for Freeport Copper, Crescent directed
a tailings deposition study, which identified alternatives for managing mill tailings and the associated
river transport.
-
Managed the conceptual design, specifications and testing of a
management information system at a mill. Networked multiple unit operations computers running under different operating systems, utilizing a Foxboro I/A distributed control system as a data server.
